Rode Boompole Pro, Carbon Fiber Boom Pole (10&)

The RODE Boompole Pro 3m Carbon Fibre is manufactured from carbon fibre and weighs only 535gm. Extends from a compact 810mm (2‘ 8”), to a full 3m (10’). Designed for use with professional shotgun microphones such as the RODE NTG3 as well as the Blimp windshield system, the Boompole Pro joins RØDE’s popular boom pole range which now consists of five models ranging in size, weight, and construction material. Each of the five pole sections is comprised completely from carbon fibre making it incredible lightweight while maintaining high levels of strength. The sections are easily extendible with one hand thanks to an intuitive twist-lock mechanic. RØDE offers boom pole cable clips as an optional accessory, however the company’s new RODELink wireless XLR adaptor allows users to record audio from a shotgun microphone on the end of the Boompole Pro without the hassle and possible handling noise of cables. Rode's Boompole Pro is a precision balanced professional boom pole / fish-pole for location audio sound recording. The Boompole Pro is 5 section, and has a standard 3/8" screw thread at the end, allowing mounting of microphone shockmounts, blimps etc. Rodes optional mic clips can also be used to attach microphone cables (available separately). Designed in Australia, the BoomPole is the perfect addition to complement the flexibility and utility of Rode’s extensive range of Video and Broadcast microphones.
